Cymahj Jamison also known as CJ, was Born on September 25th, 1991 to Jacqueline Gilbert and Kenneth Jamison. CJ was born and raised in the North Houston Area known to most as Acres Homes. My love for music started at a very young age. Seems like it may have started when I was in music class when I attended Conley Elementary School is when I first had the chance to play the Xylophone, the TomToms, and the drums. I also liked playing the marimbas, tambourine, and flutes amongst other instruments as a child. One of the most memorable instructors that had a lasting impression on me I believe was my instructor Ms. Walker. I remember her having an English accent. As I got older, the more I started to love playing instruments, the more I started to come into my own and I started to use the gift that God had given me, my voice.  I also love to sing and hear the praise and worship team at the church I attended. I would be so upset if we were late and missed it. I played in many bands all through grade school. I played percussion from the 6th-grade year until my freshman year of college at Texas Southern University. In 2010, I graduated from Eisenhower Senior High School. During this time is when I started to figure out what my purpose in my life was and being able to better myself with the instruments of the band and using my voice to help bless others.

Proverbs 3 Entertainment is a new beginning for me, my humble beginnings, in not only the music realm but also in the entertainment realm.  I have been given the opportunity to be able to tap into not only my music, but also many talents that I may have not uncovered, or open my mind up to, and for that, I will forever be grateful. For most of my life, my love of music, I’ve kept hidden from the outside world, but I have had many people tell me that I should use my gift of singing and that I have a beautiful voice to help others. I  never know how my story would help benefit not only me, but also the rest of the world.now to some people would look at me and only see me for my voice and that I’m a man, but I also want to be able to tell my personal story because I am also in the midst of becoming a Transgender Male Artist. I am starting to own my reality to the point where not only do I believe in myself and others, but the level of Belief, support, and encouragement for one another we do is unmatched. I’ve been charged and forced to step out on faith and do my thang because of P3e..P3e will forever be a part of me.
